  Known as the ‘mushroom of immortality, Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) brings a calming mental clarity. This medicinal mushroom is known for its many amazing benefits, including the ability to increase energy by reducing stress, symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as preventing fatigue. This powerful mushroom is high in antioxidants, which can prevent cell damage.  With the ability to increase white blood cell count, Reishi can help fight off illnesses and disease. As surprising as it may seem, this mushroom is a powerful antifungal, with the ability to balance candida overgrowth. Reishi also supports kidney and cardiovascular health and helps to stabilize and maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

  Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) was traditionally used to reduce fatigue and boost strength and sex drive. Not only is this mushroom full of antioxidants and is believed to have anti-aging properties. Research suggests that Cordyceps may actually have the potential to treat cancer, as well as some side effects of cancer treatments. This medicinal mushroom can also help balance blood sugar levels, an important factor in type 2 diabetes. It also contains adenosine, which is a naturally occurring compound that has heart-protective effects.

  Research has shown that when human cells are exposed to Cordyceps, special proteins that increase inflammation in the body become suppressed.  This makes cordyceps an excellent medicinal mushroom to help with asthma and many other inflammatory illnesses.

  Made with a base of 74% heirloom cacao from Ecuador that we stonegrind in-house we add Chaga mushroom extract for minerals, antioxidants and immune boosting benefits, vanilla for a synergistic floral flavour and is topped off with some maple sugar for a sweetly pleasant crunch.

   Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a medicinal mushroom that grows on birch trees in the northern hemisphere. Known as the ‘King of Mushrooms’, Chaga stimulates and supports the health of the immune system, helping wounds heal and effectively reducing the severity of allergies. It is also rich in many vitamins and minerals including B-complex vitamins, vitamin D, potassium, iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium to name a few. • What is A2 milk powder and what are it’s benefits?

  In regular milk, there is an A1 and A2 beta-casein, where as A2 milk powder only contains A2 beta-casein.  There are some studies that have suggested A1 beta-casein can be harmful and A2 beta-casein is a safe option.
