Lucuma Powder – Light Cellar
Story:
Native to South America, Lucuma was known as the ‘gold of the Incas’. This fruit has a bright yellow-orange flesh and is commonly used in ice creams and desserts in Peru. Lucuma powder has a maple-like flavour with notes of mango and banana – delicious.
Instructions:
Add 1 Tbsp to smoothies, elixirs, chocolate or use in desserts as a flavouring or sugar substitute. (2 lucuma : 1 sugar). Adds a healthy, balanced sweetness to any recipe.
